Life is amazing sometimes. One of the girls from my
soccer team, Carolina, is about to turn 20 years old and just had a son on July 22. Although we are almost 10 years apart, we found out that we were pregnant back in November, carried our babies through the same season... and tonight our little boys met for the first time. (Although Inmanuel is three weeks older and weighs more, Paul's feet were twice the size - hilarious...)
Carolina got married and moved out of a rough barrio, and is now living blocks from our house. Now that Inmanuel and Paul are friends, we may hang out soon, the four of us! Next time, though, I'm not going to wakr Paul up from a nap (gasp!) to hang out with him... :)

I bet you will find so much satisfaction in this fellow "mommy friend". it's so nice to have someone nearby who understands the day-to-day of raising a baby :).
Glad you found someone w/ a same age kid! It makes a huge difference to be able to talk through stuff w/ someone else going through the same things, esp. w/ your first one. Hope the little guys get to hang out more! : )
