Paul ("Pol") and his Adventures in the Dominican Republic

We made it -- and little Paul has already survived his first tropical storm with flying colors (see video below). The first few days were REALLY tough for Paul with the temperature difference between fall in Chicago and steamy Santo Domingo, so Mark finally caved in and got us an air conditioner for the bedroom. We should have it all wired up on Monday, so happy sleeping for our whole family. (Why we didn't get an A/C for the first TWO AND A HALF YEARS is beyond me... why didn't the little guy arrive sooner? :) Thank you for all of your encouragement and love while we were in the US -- we had a very refreshing time.

Congratulations on the air conditioner! Now we'll just hope along with you that you don't get too many power outages. Thanks for the pictures of our little guy. The sound on the video is quite exciting!

I see a little chub on Paul's legs, he's going to grow up fast! : ) That's great that he slept through the storm, he must have gotten used to the Dominican sounds in the womb. And it's fun to see him in my boys' onesies! Keep the picts and videos coming. Check out our blog too, just updated it.
