As many of you know from recent blog entries, Mark/I have been working with a team of volunteers in both the Dominican Republic and the United States to create a new fair trade clothing initiative. We are very excited, we are also holding it very loosely, because at its core it is a development project that is owned/operated by our Dominican friends who live in the mountains of Peralta. The team is doing a great job and we're hoping that the amount of business acquired matches the speed of their production down there.

We recently sold about 600 t-shirts made in Peralta at the Willow Creek Arts Conference and another 5000 polos and t-shirts before that. They are good looking shirts.
That said, I have to do an innocent sales push from my own website, right? :)
If you or anyone you know might be interested in purchasing high-quality fair trade custom made bulk order t-shirts or polo shirts (that's a mouthful, eh?) let us know! It takes about 4-6 weeks for delivery from the DR, but if you have a big event coming up where you'll need t-shirts, we'd love to be the ones to provide them!
