Prom Project at Northeast Christian Church

This is an email from my Mom and Dad that I really want to share b/c this outreach project was so cool and creative... this is something Northeast Christian Church did in Louisville KY for their local community.

Our ladies at church this past weekend had Prom Project. Over 250 young girls who couldn’t afford to go to a prom………now have dress, shoes, handbag and jewelry. The gym was turned into a "store." Look at some of these pictures. When they opened the gym Friday----the line was 200 deep with people wanting a dress. Our ladies did it so right. Take a number and then each girl had a person shopper (a lady from NE) helping them until everything was decided. We even had ladies on sewing machines to make alterations right then and there. Really neat thing.
