I've decided to experiment. The time has come for me to make the change. I was waltzing around downtown Santo Domingo with blonde hair, which caused (what I believe to be) more comments than necessary. I was getting "Americana, Americana" whenever I walked on Kilometer 9 (my Spanish school stop)... why was it so obvious that I was American? I didn't say a word... but I think it was because of my hair.

I am now a brunette. We'll see how if I blend in a little more...
